Terms of use

Last updated 20 October 2026. These terms cover the Make or Skip website and the dashboard (dash.makeorskip.com). By creating an account you agree to them.

What Make or Skip does

Make or Skip checks digital product ideas against search demand, growth, competition and timing, and gives a verdict: make it, wait, or skip. Verdicts and numbers are estimates from public and paid data sources. They help you decide; they are not a promise of sales, and the decision to make a product is yours.

Your account

• One person per account. Use an email address you control.
• There is no password. You sign in with a passkey, an authenticator app or Google, and you can keep recovery codes. Keep them to yourself: anyone who has them can sign in as you.
• Tell us straight away at hello@makeorskip.com if you think someone else got into your account.

Plans and payments

• The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in US dollars through Gumroad, which handles the payment and the receipt.
• Founding prices stay the same for as long as you stay a member. Your first month is free; after that you are billed yearly until you cancel.
• Ask within 14 days of a charge for a full refund. You can cancel any time from your Gumroad receipt; you keep access until the paid period ends.

Fair use

Don’t try to break or overload the service, get into other people’s accounts, resell the data in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful. Plans have monthly limits; we may pause an account that tries to get around them, and we’ll tell you why.

Changes and availability

We improve Make or Skip all the time, and features may change. We try to keep it running every day but can’t promise it will never be down. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email members first.

Responsibility

Make or Skip is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for lost sales or profits from decisions made with it, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
